Fischbacher DAWON curtain fabric

The curtain fabric DAWON comes from the "La Dolce Tigre" series by artist Rebecca Duckett-Wilkinson. This impressive design features a large tiger motif that is machine-embroidered on a linen-cotton fabric.
The line drawing of the leaves is also machine-embroidered, while the leaf fillings are hand-embroidered in an additional step using the "crewel" technique.
A particularly thick woollen yarn is used for this elaborate handwork, which creates a particularly dense and textured surface.
