Christian Fischbacher has given the VICHY percale design a contemporary, modern interpretation with a new red colourway. VICHY is made using a long staple cotton percale of the very finest quality, which is woven in a high-density, classic linen weave. With a weight of just 130 g/m2, the fabric is as light as a feather and wonderfully smooth. Its high level of air permeability makes the fabric extremely durable and easy to care for. Thanks to the two different warp and weft tones, the VICHY design boasts an extraordinary depth of colour. As one of the oldest textile patterns, the cube-shaped two-tone checks originated in the eponymous town of Vichy in southern France.

The bed linen features winter sports enthusiasts from the 1920s and 30s, alongside skiers of today, some whizzing down the slopes whilst others stand at the side and chat. The detailed drawing of the design, which was originally created using watercolour and photography, beckons the viewer onto the pistes of St. Moritz, the birthplace of the alpine sport at the heart of the Engadin valley. The dynamic motif’s meticulous engraving and brilliant colours are achieved through the intricate 12-stencil print carried out by our long-term Swiss partner. Engadina is printed on our successful classic satin 105, a soft and feather-light satinette that weighs just 100 grams per square metre. It is woven in the so-called Swiss setting exclusively using certified Supima long staple cotton, the high quality of which is confirmed by the prestigious swiss+cotton seal. This lends our bed linen its subtle sheen and smooth feel. Beautiful shimmering satin bedlinen, sensational to the touch. Feel the luxurious silky fabric, woven from the finest cotton yarns. Vichy is made using a long-fibre cotton percale of the very finest quality, which is woven in a high-density, classic linen weave. With a weight of just 130 g/m2, the fabric is as light as a feather and wonderfully silky. Percale is also distinguished by its high level of air permeability, which makes it extremely resistant and easy to clean.
